Decker Electric completed the Johns Manville Insulation plant in McPherson, KS for Yates Construction. Johns Manville requested an addition to their facility that has two new smelters, along with two baghouses and an enormous storage facility. Decker Electric installed all the feeders to the new MCC’s, along with wiring of the four new services that feed the complex. Yates Construction added a Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP) that is bolted onto the unit to help with emission controls. Decker Electric wired the WESP and the terminations of all the instrumentation equipment on site. Decker Electric’s Technology team added fiber and terminated it along with technical support to Yates Construction during the entire project.
