Standby Generator Project EKAE Garnett, KS
In the summer of 2020, Decker Electric completed the install of three 500 KW standby generators, a 2,000 amp distribution panel & two 1,200 amp tap boxes.
We installed over 1,400 feet of temporary power cables & 400 feet of permanent power wiring along with several communication cables.
This will give the renewable unit backup power to assure no power interruptions. This was a complete design build job by Decker Electric.
Marty Mapes, James Helten, John Perkins, Norman King, Scott Nelson & Bryan Wallace all helped to make this job be a success.
This project was quickly followed with another to do a permanent install of three 500 KW tier 4 generators.
