The Amber Wave Wheat gluten facility in Phillipsburg, KS is North America’s largest wheat protein facility. Co-located with an ethanol plant, it not only produces vital wheat gluten, but also advanced biofuels and animal feed from the same feedstock. Decker Electric was contracted to provide design-build services alongside automation contractor, Kice Industries, for electrical, instrumentation, fiber optic, telecommunications, access control and security camera systems.

Construction on this project began in December of 2021 and the facility began production in October of 2023.
