Food Ingredient Facility

A food ingredients facility in Kansas is expanding its gluten production process and adding additional lines in its plant. The primary goal of the plant expansion is to the increase plant throughput of the mill, wet, and dry processes to produce a minimum of 25 million pounds of additional gluten per year. That is enough gluten to make over 700 million chocolate chip cookies!

Decker Electric is installing new power and controls to one new silo, demolishing and installing new equipment, and relocating equipment in preparation for Phase 2 of this project. Plant operations must remain in full production during the duration of the construction so close coordination is instrumental on this project.
